L.I.N.D.A

Music has always been a strong presence in my life. I give credit to my mama who opened my young ears to the sounds of her youth and beyond. The connection of that music has spread across decades, like a lifetime of stories and blood. This ongoing series of drawings are from a book of Linda McCarthy’s photographs titled The 60’s. A book we kept in my home, that added a visual element to the songs we were listening to. A world I would never experience. An eternal link to the love of music that my mama shares with me; ongoing and everlasting.
